Lessons:
Learn the fundamentals of guitar that will enable you to play basic melodies and accompaniments for tunes found in most songbooks. Topics covered include primary chords, accompaniment styles, note reading, care and maintenance of your instrument, elements of playing various musical styles and much more. Repertoire will match both the student's skill level and their musical preferences.

• Note reading (very basic introduction of concept, as guitar is quite difficult to sight-read on).

• Basic Strum Patterns and chord progressions.
• Stylistic exposure to classical/jazz/blues guitar.

Instructor
Mr. David Truax.  A caring and friendly teacher who will work with a student toward their individual goals. 

Schedule
For the 2011 - 2012 school year we have classes on Tuesdays from 3:30– 8:00 p.m.  Our fall semester requires an 18 week commitment. The semester begins Aug. 8th and ends in December. Tuition will be prorated if the student begins after Aug. 8th. Lessons are 30 minutes.

Registration fee:  $30
Tuition for the 18 week semester is pided into 5 equal monthly payments of $95.
We prorate for students who enroll midsemester.
