A typical lesson will include working on repertoire, technique and basic music skills as they supplement the guitar such as chanting rhythms and improvising over ostinatos in different tonalities. As soon as a student has the necessary skills, we begin working on songs that the teacher and the student both feel is a good cross between their tastes and their skill level.
