Music Time Learning Center, Inc. (MTLC), a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, began in 2004 to fill a gap in music education services for low and moderate income families in Gwinnett County, Georgia.  Since then, we have provided children of all ages, regardless of financial background, with a musical foundation that has broadened their horizons in various aspects of their lives. Currently we reach over 700 students each week with all our programs!

Research has established the positive effects of music education in the overall process of childhood development. Music education has been shown to contribute to success in society, school, developing intelligence, and life.

MTLC established the Raising Musical Children program to fund music classes in preschools and daycares that understand the benefits of music but cannot afford it. Six of the thirteen centers we serve in Gwinnett and Atlanta are benefiting from Raising Musical Children. This is made possible with the kind and generous support of many of the business foundations in and around our community.

Other curriculums include Kindermusik® – music and movement for children 0m-7 years and their parents – and Group Piano Classes for 4y-teen. We also offer free Musical Story Time at Borders and free Kindermusik demonstration classes.

Our Scholarship Fund gives financial aid to Kindermusik and Piano students who request tuition help. Funds are raised through MTLC’s participation in AT&T Birdies For Charity, Simon Mall of Georgia Evening of Giving, Cartridge World Recycling Program and personal donations.
