Review/Learn to read music notation and apply them to a string orchestra instrument (violin, viola, cello, or bass) using a variety of songs and activities. The goal of this class is for everyone to become proficient enough to pluck and use the bow in simple ensemble pieces.
Class meets Mondays and Fridays 10:00 – 10:50

January 22 through April 23 (no classes April 2 through April 9)
The class will build on reading notation and focus on group
intonation & rhythm so they can learn to listen across the orchestra as well as to
themselves. Students will gain leadership experience by rotating seats so that
