A Musical Beginning That Lasts A Lifetime
The educators of Music Time Learning Center offer music programs to childca
re facilities, daycares and preschools. We offer two options for day care music program:
Option 1 - General Music Class
Offering general music and movement instruction, this curriculum will develop a child's musical and listening skills, motor and creativity faculties as well as language, social and cognitive aptitude.
Age: Infant through 5 years
Class Structure: By age. Our educators will work with your facility to fit your individual needs.
Weekly Class Length: 10-20 minutes, depending on your age group.
Class Size: 20 children maximum.
Curriculum: Educators create their own monthly curriculums which include opportunities for development in the areas of social emotional and self-regulation, large and fine-motor coordination and basic math concepts such as numbers and patterns. Children will hear a cross-culteral mix of repetoire and rhymes and explore a variety of instruments.
Requirements: One classroom teacher remains in the room during music class.
Tuition: $50.00 per hour paid monthly by the Daycare.
Kindermusik® has recently introduced a music and movement program created specifically for the daycare and preschool. The children will explore vocal music melodies, rhythm, instruments and movement through guided activities that are developmentally appropriate.
Age: 2 - 4 years and 4 - 6 years
Class Structure: 12 month curriculum, non-sequential, students sign-up each month.
Class Length: 30 minutes
Class Size: 12 children maximum, five children minimum.
Requirements: A space large enough for the children to get up and move in.
Monthly Home Materials: Family Guide, Home C. D., Weekly Take-Home Pages, Instrument every other month.
Tuition: $53/month per student. Tuition is paid by the parents directly to Music Time Learning Center.
Our teachers are not entertainers. Our lessons invite creativity and offer activities that support musical, cognitive, language, social, emotional and large/small motor development. Teachers provide monthly newsletters to keep parents informed and making music with their kids all week long!
